Hey guys, do you have an account there? Add me up! I have an account there already.

Add me up okay?

Networking

As more and more dog owners are getting to be more considerate for their babies (like me), they tend to do things for them as if they were more than just animals. Well, I guess we do deserve all the caring! And of course we would love pictures of our Beautiful faces on the net. Who knows, we can meet a delightful companion there. *wink wink*.

Previously, my buddy signed me up for Dogster, but it was kind of boring. So he decided to sign me up for UnitedDogs.com.

Appearance

I have to say, the whole cute look caught my attention. I was surfing around the site with my spill-resistant Keyboard (okay, borrowed Laptop), and the bright colors are very entertaining. In fact when I first saw it, it still had the two colors which were Yellow and Violet.

Take not, dogs are not color Blind, rather we are Dichromatic. Meaning we can see the primary colors which are Yellow and Blue. Which made the sight of the site pleasing. (BOL "Bark out Loud", since when do we canine friends know how to rhyme) But now they've changed the appearance to Green.

So if you do have time to visit, please add me up!!

awkward moment

When a canine being gets out of the gates

built by the humans, we experience what we can call Nirvana on Earth. We get a taste of freedom! Well that is if we are off-leashed.

Hello everyone, the Doggyblogger is back in blogging action! Pounding away with my huge doggy paws on the Spill-Resistant Keyboard powered by Fujitsu!

It has been a long long time since I did a blog and a lot and I mean a lot has happened! Back then you saw me in my teenage years of development and now you can pretty much call me an adult now and ready for some stud servicing!

So anyway, here is a quick summary of what has happened so far.
1. Milan in the family, heat almost coming
2. Rosy is now childless, her son Ian got sold
3. I am now much bigger and more restless than ever.
4. Photoblogger just saw Marley and Me and still thinks Marley's more behaved.
5. and I've been going out in the neighborhood more often.

And for today's blogpost, I'll be featuring one of the of adventures of Photoblogger and mine.

First of, on our way to the Village gate, we came across a canine neighbor who I wasn't really familiar with. He probably was new around since I have never come across him before. He wasn't exactly a hostile one but then very jerky and making so many sudden movements while we did the "Sacred Sniff". It's a good thing those kinds of sudden jerking movements don't intimidate me since it is written in my genes that I am to be very very friendly despite my monstrous size.

Sacred Sniff

We continued sacred sniffing for about a few minutes until Photoblogger got bored. So we made a quick go away and our furry friend ran of to his house which actually belongs to the Su's.
Ahhhh, the Su's got a new dog to replace the Labrador that died.

After that encounter I continued sniffing around and Photoblogger started to throw random sticks around! Oh joy!

Fetching the stick and not giving it back

Which of course I ended up chewing to my delight. They are the best chew toys
available! Why? Cuz their for free! Oh yeah!

After the little stick chasing session, we came across a stray... ah yes, the perfect chase material! You see, I am a very very proud canine. I do not chase pathetic prey that is below my level. My prey must be that which almost equals me. What other than another canine! All I needed to do was look at him in the eye, and it was enough to make him scamper away!

After our little chase it was getting dark and we needed to head home. And on the way home, Photoblogger got a picture of something he kept calling a "Chestnut Munia". Hmf, I wasn't that interested, it didn't look anything like a potential prey.

Chestnut Munia, Locally known as the Maya

Lesson: To all dog owners out there. We need our walks! We need our dog walks! We do not want to be kept caged up all day long only to come out just to defecate or eat. Free us for once! Let us roam free and be as our ancestors the wolves who roamed the lands for hours.

Warning: Do not let your dogs off-leash in a middle of a busy road or a place where there are animals which can get hurt by your canine friend or which can hurt your canine friend.

Hope to hear from my Homo Sapien readers :)

Okay, so there was this one time that I was watching from my cage, and Vanjohnn's brother, Vanjames, came with a couple of friends.

Lately, Milan has become the center of attention in this household. Why? Because she doesn't chew stuff or destroy things. Now, I can't help it if it is still in my nature as a growing puppy (yes I am still a puppy, I am not yet even a year old as I am writing this) to chew stuff and play with them.
Another reason why they love her is because she is fat. Now what is with people and obese dogs? And even if they know she needs to lose weight they keep giving her treats! What-the-dog?! Hello!! Growing puppy here! I want my milk bones!

So anyway, the biggest reason why they all love her is because of her crazy way raising her paws when humans say "high Five". I figured this must be an attractive behavior since she gets so much praise out of it. But when I tried it with my buddy Vanjohnn, he didn't seem to enjoy the mud on his super clean uniform.

Here's a picture of Vanjames doing a High Five with Milan.

Anyway, despite Milan getting all the attention, but I can't help but give the same level of attention to her too since she is after the all, the doggy love of my canine life. So here's to my life with her. Even if I am jealous that other people are giving her attention, at least she has no other Alpha Male in her canine life.

Finally, after days of being caged, I can finally get my paws on the computer. Mind you, for those who complain that I haven't blogged in a while, it is DIFFICULT to type with large paws! (Don't they have dog-friendly keyboards? Good thing this one is spill resistant)

This explains why the keyboard still works after my saliva fest

Anyway, last Sunday, Vanjohnn decided to bring to a Fun Run in Park Mall which was organized by Tito Reynald. I was quite surprised, because it was really early in the morning and I was doing my routine voicing/barking when suddenly he shows up and grabs my chain and leashes me then he brings me to the car and he tells me "stay". What the hell is going on here?! Anyway, with no idea where I was going I just stayed. When we arrived, I discovered that we were in a big place which Vanjohnn called Park Mall, and since I couldn't go potty back in the house, I did my business right there. And guess who got scolded? Poor Vanjohnn. Oh well, someday, there will be Laws saying we are allowed in malls!

Me after the race

After which, hundreds of people started lining up and then I heard a pop, then all the humans started running! I could feel the excited energy of a lot of them but I couldn't understand why Vanjohnn and his mom just wanted to walk. Run woman! Run man!! What are you waiting for?! In the later part of the run, Vanjohnn was also tired of just walking, so he decided to run with me. That's my boy! While we were running, I noticed that every time we passed by someone, they would shriek. Hmmmm. Vanjohnn must have problems with his face cuz people act like they have seen a monster.

When the run was over, I was greeted by a friend of Vanjohnn. Her name was Mary and her nephew who was with her wanted to play with me. Cute little kid. But I was very tired from the run so I decided to lie down while they started to announce the winners.

Running around with Polo

Me with Polo and Mary

When everything was finished, we headed home while Vanjohnn was telling me, "Milan's coming tomorrow!". Who's Milan and what is she doing in my turf?!

Well, I decided to sleep anyway, and the next day was Monday.

By morning, Vanjohnn was very excited to leave the house for some reason. Excited enough to leave me hungry?! What the heck?! Come on human!! Feed me!

Anyway, the maid fed me after all.

Around 12 noon, I heard the car come back and then I smelled something different. Something beautiful. Something almost heavenly. It drove my senses wild! I couldn't control myself. Vanjohnn was there and he let me out.

When I came out I saw something black. Flea-covered, and panting and all. Carrying the most beautiful of all smells in her "private Garden". Milan.

(pics to follow on the next post)

Milan is beautiful! Although she is 3 doggy years ahead of me, I was in love! So what will I do if I'm in love? Well, I never know what to do so I let my instincts take over me and I started humping her. Yes, it may sound uncivilized, but it was the only thing I could think of, or rather "insthink" of. But then Milan didn't seem to happy about it so she bit me on the lip. Boy was that a turn on!! Anyway, enough of that for now. More of Milan on my next post. Thanks for checking this out people! :D

Alex

Vanjohnn is very busy with his other blog (http://veleztimes.blogspot.com) so I'm just gonna be the one to narrate what happened today.

So the day started with me waking up from a nice doggie dream. I had a dream about a female black labrador who was gonna come to the house. And then I knew I was in love. Oh beautiful dog of the night. Where art thou?

Anyway, after which, Vanjohnn gave me a quick breakfast and led me to one of my favorite activities which happens every week. Bathing Time!!!

Yep, I don't know why, but I get all jumpy and happy when I am wet and cold! I love water! And when Vanjohnn bathes me, he rubs my fur really well making a nice bubbly formation on my fur. He uses OUR DOG shampoo. I just love the lemony smell! And when I have shampoo everywhere, he washes me clean with fresh cold water. When that's done. He brushes me with my favorite doggie brush. And then he left me to dry. But what the heck?! What's the big idea Vanjohnn?! You know I have separation anxiety! Why did you leave me on the lawn all alone. :(

Anyway, when he came back, he took me with him to the car. I heard him mention some human word called "soccer". Now after living with these humans for some quite some time, you start to understand some words and one of these words is "soccer". From what I understand, Soccer involved a game of kicking the ball into a GIANT net while trying not to get the ball from being bitten by me.

So I associated "Vanjames" and "Soccer" and realized that we were bringing Vanjames to Soccer. But when we got there I wasn't even allowed to go near the ball! What did I do wrong now?!

So we left Vanjames with his "soccer" and went to Ramos. I then left for the Vet, and you know what? Call me weird but I love the Vet. Oh the smells and all the free treats they give out! CVD is the best! There I met a cool looking dog. Lolo Gringo!

anyway, I'll continue this blogpost when I reach home. This blogpost with all the pictures will be continued by the time I reach home. Until then, this Alexander of Busay signing off.

Okie, so I signed off awhile ago. Now I'm back...

So, after my shots, we hanged out in the office for awhile. It was nice in the office. But my feet were already itching. I was dying to go out and explore! It has been a very long time since I tried going out again. Now was my chance!

And so, we started walking but my beloved Vanjohnn decided to have a stopover in the Velez College Gym. There I was able to take in a good amount of water before we started our long walk to Fuente Circle. What an amazing experience it was! Big metal thingies passing around! Lots of sounds and weird stuff, and I also realized, hey! Even men still mark their territories with their scent!

Upon arriving in Fuente Circle, Vanjohnn kept taking pictures of me. (Am I good looking or what?) Then after an hour, two other females arrived and then so did other people. One of the males was carrying a large rectangle thingy. Then Vanjohnn showed it to me and asked me if it looked good. How am I supposed to know? But when I saw it, I was speechless, or should I say, Barkless.

The area seemed to radiate some happy and excited energy. Vanjohnn was busy clicking away and suddenly, a nice lady named Nancy came by. Vanjohnn introduced me to her as the "canine blogger". Hmmm. Does that mean I am part of this group that they call CBS? WOW!

So Nancy asked the head people of CBS some questions and then we had a group pic taken. When we went home, I was very very tired. I slept all the way. But when I arrived at home, I saw a lot of people. I heard they were here for a victory party for the thing called "soccer". Oh well, I just want some sleep after that exciting day.

So before the blog ends, announcement, the pictures of the Profiles of the Cebubloggers, can be found in this linke : http://johnntiu.multiply.com

This is officially the first post of my blog all about dogs. So what is this blog about? This will concern everything to do with my dog, Alex, and his points of view, and also everything to do with... well, dogs. So if you have a dog, or like dogs, then keep yourself updated with this blog. :D

ME
About 7 months ago, after my vacation in USA, I arrived at home and impatiently waited for my new dog to come. My first dog with papers and all. A pure cream Labrador Retriever. Yep, a big dog. Well, at least for now, a small one. Anyway, after a days of waiting, I finally got Alex. (Alex, as in Alexander the Great)

Alex is a Labrador retriever and I got him from a breeder from Bohol. The breeder happened to be a friend of the girlfriend of my cousin. (whew, connections, connections) When I first saw Alex when he was about a month old, he was still small, but very fat and active. I knew I wanted him. So I asked my dad if I can have him and my dad agreed. So for 10,000php, Alex became mine.

ALEX

The day I was born I was very happy since we were a lot in the family, unfortunately, some of the bigger dogs got hold of my brothers and sisters so they got killed. Luckily, I was a noisy puppy so I shouted as loud as I could until Vivien(the breeder and master of mommy) rescued us. Because of that dark incident, we are now only four puppies left.

One day, some strangers together with Vivien came inside our little area. Suddenly, a guy with a camera goes to me and plays with me. He is so friendly! And I feel comfortable with his scent! He also rubbed Aunt Peachy's tummy. Then I heard them say something in human and the guy with the camera was all excited and jumpy.

Three months later, I am given a bath (I love baths!) and then placed in a small blue box (pet carrier) with lots of stickers. I was scared at first but then was very sleepy. I couldn't really see what was happening outside except with what was in front of me (there was a screen in front). But even if I couldn't see I could still hear and smell. I heard a lot of stuff moving around, lots of grunting and huffing and puffing. And then I heard some heavy objects falling. I smelled a lot of funny smells, all new and amazing! I smelled men and sweat, fresh fishy smells, a lot of things I couldn't identify. And most importantly, I smelled something fresh, salty and very... free! I could smell the sea!

After awhile, all the noise stopped and then everything seemed to stop. Then I heard a blowing horn and the world started to move under my feet. It went on like this for what seemed like and eternity. And then I was at a different place. It was very scary. Nothing smelled familiar. I couldn't make of where I was. I then felt being carried and then placed down and I heard someone say, "Wala pa mukuha ang tag-iya ani." (The owner is not yet here to get this)

After a century of waiting, I finally smelled something familiar! When I looked out, I saw him! The guy who scratched me! The guy I met three months ago!

The guy with the camera! Vanjohnn...
