This is officially the first post of my blog all about dogs. So what is this blog about? This will concern everything to do with my dog, Alex, and his points of view, and also everything to do with... well, dogs. So if you have a dog, or like dogs, then keep yourself updated with this blog. :D
ME
About 7 months ago, after my vacation in USA, I arrived at home and impatiently waited for my new dog to come. My first dog with papers and all. A pure cream Labrador Retriever. Yep, a big dog. Well, at least for now, a small one. Anyway, after a days of waiting, I finally got Alex. (Alex, as in Alexander the Great)
Alex is a Labrador retriever and I got him from a breeder from Bohol. The breeder happened to be a friend of the girlfriend of my cousin. (whew, connections, connections) When I first saw Alex when he was about a month old, he was still small, but very fat and active. I knew I wanted him. So I asked my dad if I can have him and my dad agreed. So for 10,000php, Alex became mine.
ALEX
The day I was born I was very happy since we were a lot in the family, unfortunately, some of the bigger dogs got hold of my brothers and sisters so they got killed. Luckily, I was a noisy puppy so I shouted as loud as I could until Vivien(the breeder and master of mommy) rescued us. Because of that dark incident, we are now only four puppies left.
One day, some strangers together with Vivien came inside our little area. Suddenly, a guy with a camera goes to me and plays with me. He is so friendly! And I feel comfortable with his scent! He also rubbed Aunt Peachy's tummy. Then I heard them say something in human and the guy with the camera was all excited and jumpy.
Three months later, I am given a bath (I love baths!) and then placed in a small blue box (pet carrier) with lots of stickers. I was scared at first but then was very sleepy. I couldn't really see what was happening outside except with what was in front of me (there was a screen in front). But even if I couldn't see I could still hear and smell. I heard a lot of stuff moving around, lots of grunting and huffing and puffing. And then I heard some heavy objects falling. I smelled a lot of funny smells, all new and amazing! I smelled men and sweat, fresh fishy smells, a lot of things I couldn't identify. And most importantly, I smelled something fresh, salty and very... free! I could smell the sea!
After awhile, all the noise stopped and then everything seemed to stop. Then I heard a blowing horn and the world started to move under my feet. It went on like this for what seemed like and eternity. And then I was at a different place. It was very scary. Nothing smelled familiar. I couldn't make of where I was. I then felt being carried and then placed down and I heard someone say, "Wala pa mukuha ang tag-iya ani." (The owner is not yet here to get this)
After a century of waiting, I finally smelled something familiar! When I looked out, I saw him! The guy who scratched me! The guy I met three months ago!
